Photographer Bio
Katie Andelman has the unique ability to capture light, motion, and emotion in each of her photographs. Which is why they have been referred to as “ exceptional and powerful.” Katie brings experience and warmth to every photo shoot. Katie creates strong and genuine rapport with her clients, which allows for open, vibrant, and timeless images.
Katie studied at the University of Colorado where she earned her Bachelors and Masters degrees. While in undergrad, she traveled abroad and was formally trained at the University of London, where she was an apprentice to world-renowned photographers who’s work appeared at the Tate Museum of Modern Art in London, and the Museum of Modern Art in New York City.
Katie worked as a model during her teens for clients such a Pepsi, MAC Cosmetics, and L’Oreal Paris. This experience allowed her to learn first hand about movement, angles, light, and the connection to the camera.
